An exclusive sit-down with everyone's favourite Downpatrick rocker...

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler was in fine form when Hot Press caught up with him just hours before taking to the stage at The Academy for a special gig, featuring original guitarist Charlotte Hatherley back among the fold.
On the agenda was revisiting Free All Angels on its tenth anniversary, future plans for the band - including whether or not Charlotte’s return will extend beyond the current tour - and his upcoming Christmas record with Emmy The Great. We began by asking him about this week's news that Wheeler is seemingly considering returning to the album format after their year-long A-Z singles experiment finished in 2010...
Ash's Best Of compilation is out now, and This Is Christmas (by Tim Wheeler and Emmy the Great) has a November 21 release date.
