And So I Watch You From Afar will be rocking out from Holland on Friday January 15.
2fm have confirmed that they’ll be broadcasting And So I Watch You From Afar’s set live from the Eursonic festival in northern Holland at 9pm on Friday January 15.
The Norn Iron guitar-abusers will be introduced by Dan Hegarty who’ll be in Groningen for the duration of the showcase bash with his colleague Jenny Huston who’ll also be broadcasting her show from there.
One of the biggest events of its kind anywhere in the world, Eurosonic 2010 will host 160 bands in 28 venues playing to 18,000 fans, 2,600 of whom are music industry professionals.
Also flying the Irish flag this year will be Hot Press Christmas issue cover star Imelda May, Villagers and Delorentos.
By day, Eurosonic will have over 250 international speakers and 100 panel discussions, with Rolling Stone contributing editor and Appetite For Self-Destruction: The Spectacular Crash of the Record Industry in the Digital Age author Steve Knopper; Spotify’s Niklas Ivarsson; Nokia’s Jurgen Thysmans; Sony-Ericsson’s Harold de Kort; International Talent Booking’s Lucy Dickins; and Bob Lefsetz of The Lefsetz Letter ezine fame among the heavy-hitters present.
