Following on from the inaugural event which saw Hermitage Green, Trinity Ensemble and Gavin James light up the Old Jameson Distillery, more of Ireland's finest talents are preparing to bring the party to Bow Street
Already, anticipation is building for the second instalment of the Bow Street Sessions, brought to you by Jameson and Hot Press.
The first event saw Hermitage Green and Trinity Ensemble wowing the crowds at the Old Jameson Distillery, while one of the nation's hottest properties Gavin James also performed on a night that will be remembered for a long time.
This time around, two more of the country's finest acts are limbering up to ensure that the second instalment will be just as memorable. Leading the way are HamsandwicH, rounding off a year that has seen them bag their first No. 1 album with Stories From The Surface and their first Hot Press cover - on our 900th issue, no less. On the live front, the band followed a blockbusting headline show at The Olympia with a barnstorming display on Electric Picnic's Main Stage.
Not to be outdone, the tour de force that is R.S.A.G. will also be D7-bound. During the year his services have been requested by everyone from Justice's Xavier De Rosnay to our own Jerry Fish – while any spare time the man, known to his nearest and dearest as Jeremy Hickey, could find has been spent working on his third studio album. If you think juggling between being a highly in-demand sticksman and one of the country's most innovative artists is impressive, then prepare to be utterly blown away by his dynamic live performance.
With exciting collaborations and combinations guaranteed, it's little surprise that our inbox is already bursting with applications for the all-important tickets; if you fancy being part of the action, head on over to [link]hotpress.com/bowstreetsessions[/link].
