Motor City Drum Ensemble will play this Friday 6 November in Pod on Harcourt St. as part of HYPE night.

Admission is €12 and doors open at 11pm.

Artist Danilo Plessow's DJ name refers to his home town of Stuttgart, Germany's motor city (Mercedes Benz/Porsche/Bosch), and is obviously a link to Detroit as well. He takes influences from soul, disco and Detroit/Chicago '90s house music.

MCDE`S 'RawCuts' series, released on his own label 'MCDE' (run together with P. Valentino) sold a few thousand each and was at the top of the charts for months. His other label, 'Four Roses Recordings', has also been doing very well. Danilo has become a sought after and very successful remixer, and at just 24 years old, he has already released on at least 24 labels.

Danilo released a 12" in 2009 for one of UK`s biggest house labels, 20:20 Vision, and is now hitting the road again to show some of his DJ skills, which have already brought him all over Europe, the US and Russia.
