No cash will be accepted for general admission tickets for U2’s upcoming shows in 3Arena, Dublin and the SSE Arena, Belfast...
Ticketmaster in Dublin have issued a series of points of information for people buying U2 tickets for the Dublin and Belfast shows, which were announced late last night – and which go on sale at 9am on Monday next, September 14, 2015. The shows will take place in 3Arena in Dublin and SSE Arena in Belfast.
The most important instruction is that no cash will be accepted for general admission (standing) tickets. “The transaction is a paperless one,” a spokesman for Ticketmaster said. “The credit card used to make the purchase must be presented on show night to gain entry.” Tickets will be limited to two per purchase – a device which is used to foil touts, who frequently attempt to purchase tickets in volume.
The statement also emphasises that queuing at box offices will not be allowed before 6pm on Sunday, September 13.
