Xavier Rudd announces Dublin date

It's his biggest yet in the Olympia.

Australian maverick Xavier Rudd heads over on February 8 for what will be his biggest Dublin headliner yet in the Olympia. Tickets priced €30 go on sale on Friday November 13.

Employing an arsenal of instruments that includes the dobro, Aztec drum, shakers, stomp box and didgeridoo, Rudd is a committed anti-fur and Aboriginal rights campaigner, and has been adopted in the States by the extended Jack Johnson family.

Sound-wise, you’re talking a hippy-dippier Paddy Casey with the odd hint of gravel-throated blues.
