Promising, indeed.
What with walls of soft vocal harmonies, gentle acoustic guitars, deceptively simple melodies and a light smattering of drums, it would appear that Graham Hopkins’ incarnations as tub-thumper for both David Kitt and Gemma Hayes have convinced the former Therapy? man that quiet is the new loud. He may still be finding his voice on ‘Underneath The World’, but judging by his track record, it shouldn’t be too long a wait. Promising, indeed.
