Damien Rice announces February gigs and tour guests.
Following the re- release of his much- acclaimed album, 'O', Rice will be touring with some special guests in the new year.
It's the start of what looks like a good year for Rice. He's gaining international recognition by the minute with a Brit Award nomination for Best Male Solo Artist, and an album that's selling enough to warrant a re- release.
He will also be starting some rigorous touring, and has announced the special guests who will join him on those dates. Stockholm's dance outfit Moose Dance Company will share the stage on his UK tour, Josh Ritter's the support for his European tour, and The Frames will head across the Atlantic with the singer/ songwriter. February 2 (unreserved seating) and 3 (standing) are the dates that he's set for gigs in Vicar Street, Dublin. Those tickets are on sale from January 13 at usual outlets, and are priced 25 euro each.
