The Crickets to join Nanci Griffith in Dublin

Buddy Holly's original band The Crickets have been added to the bill for Nanci Griffith's brace of Olympia Theatre shows on October 22 and 23.

Prior to that comes the October 15 release of The Crickets And Their Buddies, their first album in eight years which includes updates of such gems as 'That'll Be The Day', 'I Fought The Law' and 'Oh Boy'.

As for the 'buddies', Vince Neil, Bobby Vee, Rodney Crowell, Waylon Jennings, Graham Nash, John Prine, Albert Lee, Peter Case and Phil Everly are just a handful of the guests they coaxed into the studio.
