Juliette Lewis' band play Dublin
Juliette Lewis takes time off from being a Hollywood A-Lister to bring her band, The Licks, to Ireland next month.
After cosying up with Ryan Tubridy on his Tonight show (February 19), Lewis & Co. visit the Voodoo Lounge, Dublin (20); Cuba, Galway (22); and Dolan's, Limerick (23).
Fears of it being another Russell Crowe/Minnie Driver/Keanu Reeves-style vanity project are allayed by the band's debut album, Like A Bolt Of Lightning, which packs a potent punk punch.
Lewis also contributed guest vocals to the new Prodigy LP, with Liam Howlett enthusing that, "She had so much vocal power she tore the roof off!"
