Murder He Did
‘Murder He Did’ is a top notch pop tune, complete with ooh-ooh backing vocals, chunky guitar riffs and Niall Quinn’s highly accented singing.
Niall Quinn seems to have been elevated to punk-hero status in Limerick, thanks to his work with The Hitchers and now as the mainman in this bunch. Engaging stuff it is too, ramshackle in the extreme but hugely endearing. ‘Murder He Did’ is a top notch pop tune, complete with ooh-ooh backing vocals, chunky guitar riffs and Quinn’s own highly accented singing. There’s maybe too much of a late ‘80s indie feel in the quirky, Angela Lansbury referencing lyrics and artwork but you really can’t help but love this.
