Julie Feeney scoops up at Choice Music Awards
That's right - singer/songwriter Julie Feeney picked up the prize at the first ever Choice Music Awards in Dublin.
Fending off tough competition from the likes of Bell X1, Turn, Duke Special and Emmett Tinley, Feeney won the 10,000 euro prize and Today FM campaign.
She picked up the giant cheque at the ceremony in Vicar St, after each of the ten acts (bar The Chalets) performed two songs from the 2005 album for which they were nominated.
Accepting her award, she stopped to thank family, friends and colleagues before playing a half-hour set from her HP-rated 9/10 album 13 Songs.
Congrats to Julie!
