Two Gallants announce Irish tour
Steady rollin' duo Two Gallants are to play a trio of Irish shows this November.
The concerts will follow their appearance at this weekend's Electric Picnic as well as the September 26th release of their eponymous third album.
The duo will play in Ireland on the following dates:
November 1- Cyprus Avenue, Cork
November 2 - Roisin Dubh, Galway
November 3 - Crawdaddy, Dublin
Once this tour's done, they'll be back to Irish shores on 6 December, with a show in Roisin Dubh supporting Ben Weaver.
The San Franciscan duo of Adam Stephens (guitar, vocals and harmonica) and Tyson Vogel (drums and vocals) grew up on a diet of folk, country and blues, and it's easy to hear a meld of these influences in their rough-edged, raucous sound.
As mentioned, the band will be playing at Stradbally's Electric Picnic Festival on September 2nd, where they'll be sharing a billing with Duke Special, Damien Dempsey, Simple Kid and Oppenheimer on the Southern Comfort Crawdaddy Stage.
Tickets for Two Gallants' Irish tour dates are available from www.ticketmaster.ie or from the venue box offices. Tickets for the Cyprus Avenue show are €14.95, while the Crawdaddy date will cost €15/18. Admission to their concert in Roisin Dubh will cost €16.
