Stephen Lynch adds a third Olympia date
Comedic singer-songwriter, Stephen Lynch announces an extra Dublin show for September.
American singer-songwriter-comedian-jack of all trades, Stephen Lynch has clearly won the hearts of the Irish. After selling out two shows in Whelan's, Lynch has secured an extra show in the Olympia on September 1.
While Lynch appears to be a Stateside version of David O’Doherty, he has drummed up quite a few credits across the pond.
He has received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his role in the Broadway production of The Wedding Singer. And in 2005 iTunes named Lynch’s albums, A Little Bit Special and Superhero as two of the 100 best-selling independent albums in iTunes’ history.
Having always had an interest in music, Lynch says, it was not until his discovery of This is Spinal Tap, that he decided to add comedy into the mix.
Tickets for his Olympia show are €28.50, available from usual outlets.
