Dysart launch festival in Whelan’s
The Dysart Festival will kick off in style with a launch at Whelan’s.
Dysart 2008 has only hit the headlines in recent weeks, but it is taking the summer festival circuit by storm. With Jools Holland, Gemma Hayes and Republic of Loose already added to the bill, it’s set to be one of the highlights of the summer.
A great festival needs a great launch and the folks at Dysart hope to get the party started in Whelan’s tomorrow night (July 2). Helping to kick off festivities will be John Martyn, Prison Love and Clive Barnes who will all give a wee taster of their Dysart sets.
Admission to the launch gig is €10, and that €10 comes off the price of your Dysart ticket with a WAV voucher. It’s a win-win situation!
Dysart 2008 takes place on August 9 and 10 at the majestic setting of Dysart Castle in Thomastown, County Kilkenny. For all you need to know about Dysart, head to www.dysartfestival.com
