New Tattoo
If you ever needed any proof that the eighties were back, then my friends, this is it. Yup, the ‘Crue have released their eighth album, New Tattoo.

Rock ‘n’ Roll, so they’d like you to believe, is alive and well; but judging by the 12 tracks on this CD, it’s more a case of Rock, Roll over, and Slip a disc. Motley Crue are now officially past it.
Lyrics like “You’re a dirty little bastard/You’re always so plastered/You’re a dirty little whore/You’re always such a bore” have clearly put the Oxford Rhyming dictionary under great strain.
Musically, they aren’t much better – the guitar licks are clichéd, and the rhythm rarely changes.
I’d like to be able to say something good about this album, but I also like to rest easy at night. Awful.
