Comedy festival to keep country laughing during bank holiday
Tickets are now on sale for Carlsberg Cat Laughs, a collection of the world's best stand-up acts from Tasmania to New York and back to Ireland.
International acts including Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan will join the Irish comedic likes of PJ Gallagher and Tommy Tiernan for the five-day festival, which will feature 62 comedians in 86 shows across 15 Kilkenny venues.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the festival has managed to keep the ticket prices over the past three years. Shows generally hover around €20-30 but some are as cheap as €8 and others are free.
The festival will start on May 28 and last until June 1.
For a detailed lineup of shows, to buy tickets now or for more information on the festival, visit its website or call 056 7763837.
