New Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions album
My Bloody Valentine's Colm O Ó Cíosóig is on board again.
My Bloody Valentine drummer Colm O Ó Cíosóig has reunited with Mazzy Star singer Hope Sandoval for a second Hope Sandoval &The Warm Inventions album.
Due on September 11, Through The Devil Softly is the somewhat overdue – eight years! – follow up to their Bavarian Fruit Bread debut and was recorded in Northern California and Wicklow.
“It was really nice to go there,” Ó Cíosóig tells Rolling Stone. “It’s pretty remote. There was nothing but cows next door, a lake and a little pub down the road.”
Had we known that Ms. Sandoval was around, we’d have put a new shirt on and had a shave!
Tracks include ‘Blanchard’, ‘Wild Roses’, ‘For The Rest Of Your Life’, ‘Lady Jessica And Sam’, ‘Sets The Blaze’, ‘Thinking Like That’, ‘There’s A Willow’, ‘Trouble’, ‘Fall Aside’, ‘Blue Bird’ and ‘Satellite’.
