Napalm Death headline new metal festival
It's taking place next month in Waterford
Waterford becomes Heavy Metal Central on August 28 and 29 as The Forum plays host to the inaugural Lowend 2009 festival.
Headline duties on the opening night are taken care of by York groove-laden noise metallers RSJ (apparently it stands for Rolled Steel Joist) who are joined by Thoughts Of Ruin, Residual Effect, Two Tales Of Woe, Drainland, Orpheus & Red Enemy between 9pm and 2.30am.
Top of the bill on Saturday are the legendary grindcore merchants Napalm Death who’ll be given a run for their money by Primordial, Onslaught, Morning Beloveth, Five Will Die, Spearhead (not the Michael Franti version!), Stand-Up Guy, Sirocco, Overoth & Ghost Of Medina.
Tickets priced €10 (first night), €35 (the second) and €40 (weekend) are available from www.forumwaterford.ie.
