Gurrumul for the Academy
World music figure to play Dublin
Gurrumul will bring his unique blend of world music stylings to the Academy for a fully seated show on Saturday November 14.
Gurrumul (the musician's traditional name) is a member of the Gumatj clan of north east Arnhemland in Austrailia, and it is the songs and stories of the Gumatj clan that Gurrumul adapts into contemporary song styles. His debut self-titled album has achieved Gold status in Austrailia since its release in February 2008.

Tickets for the show are priced at €20 incl. booking fee, and are on sale from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide from this Friday.
