Public Image reunite

Some more earth-shattering Monday news for you – John Lydon is putting Public Image Ltd. back together for pre-Christmas Academy shows in Birmingham (December 15); Leeds (16); Glasgow (18); Manchester (19); and Brixton (21).
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
“The shows will mark the 30th Anniversary of the release of Metal Box but PiL will NOT be limited to tracks from one album and the tour will showcase their whole career,” reads the pilofficial.com blurb.
Lydon will be joined by former members Lu Edmonds and Bruce Smith plus new recruit Scott Firth. Not taking part are Jah Wobble who has some very interesting things to say – not all good – about Public Image in his new Memoirs Of A Geezer autobiography, which is a thumpingly good read!
