Cymbals Eat Guitars make their Irish bow
Catch the indie hotshots in Dublin and Belfast.
Staten Island indie merchants Cymbals Eat Guitars make their first foray to Ireland next month for shows in Crawdaddy, Dublin (November 14) and Aunt Annie’s, Belfast (15).
Often compared to Flaming Lips, who they just happen to be supporting a few days earlier in London, the quartet will be plugging their debut Why There Are Mountains album.
Also heading our way in November are Toronto’s Great Lake Swimmers whose own Lost Channels opus gets an airing in Crawdaddy, Dublin (13) and Speakeasy, Belfast (14). Equal parts Iron & Wine, Will Oldham and Neil Young, it’s a deliciously understated piece of work.
