WWE wrestler Shane McMahon has branded Floyd Soul And The Wolf as ‘The greatest Irish rock band of all time’.
The wrestler met the Irish quartet in Newark Airport when the band was returning from Nashville where they were recording their debut album. ‘Shane O Mac’ as he is also known, turns out to be a huge fan of the band’s music and the meeting was documented on the band’s video footage.
Floyd Soul And The Wolf, also huge fans of WWE, are said to be ‘mightily honoured”, and say that Shane will be the first to get a copy of the new album. As Floyd Soul quipped, “We’re thinking of asking Shane to be our manager. After all, who in the music business is going to argue with him?”
