DCTV reveal Community of Independents details

Following on from their search for six Irish bands to profile for their forthcoming series of short films on the independent Irish music scene, Dublin Community Television (DCTV) have announced details of the selected bands and perhaps more importantly, the gig that will see all six take to the stage in one evening.

This Is Our Six Minutes Of Independents takes place at Whelan's on Tuesday September 6 and will feature performances from Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands, Lafaro, Owensie, Axis Of, Windings and Junior 85.

Tickets priced only €5 including booking fee are on sale now via the WAV box office. All performances on the night will be featured, along with interviews on the changing music scene and how these acts are adapting and developing their own support structures in DCTV's upcoming series, Community of Independents.
