| Ah but much though you might refuse, your body is evolving all the time! Does it look the same now as it did when you were a nipper?

| It's getting there. Won't be long now before I'm bald, fat and shitting myself again.

Yeah, most of your cells are replaced but at different rates. I think I should let my liver regenerate. I'll be regenerating my blood cells more than usual this evening because I gave a pint of mine away about an hour ago.
And then I cycled home which was potentially stupid.

| Tornaxx, the term Most-Selfless-Man-In-Kildare is often over used in modern times, but let me be the first to say that you, sir, are truly...

| No, I can't claim that title. We'll give that epithet to...eh...Charlie McCreevy.

Ray D'Arcy isn't as rock'n'roll as his father. His da played drums in the band that played at my parents' wedding in 1968. We still have the video. While we're talking about surnames with apostrophes in them (which we weren't), the doctor at the blood donation clinic yesterday was Dr Jane K'Eogh. I mean...who puts an apostrophe in the name Keogh? ("Yer wan at the blood donation clinic!!" shouts everybody.)

| Haha, tornaxx, that is hilarious. K'oeugh? What a feckin eejit! Mind you, I did have a boss whose surname was Smith and he preferred 'Smyth'. Not quite as ludicrous as yours but still the same snob factor.

| I think I have every official CD by The Smiths but I never bothered with 'Morrissey'.

Morrissey has 3 excellent albums in Vauxhall & I, You are the Quarry and Viva Hate, the others are mostly hit and miss with a couple of turkeys too.
I dont subscribe to this idea you should never go back but with The differences between the band members and in particular Morrissey and Joyce , I don`t think it will ever happen.
The irony is,even if they reformed and made the best Album ever recorded many would say " its no where near as good as their old stuff".
In music as in life.perception is almost everything for most people.

| like the perception where some people argued that Xabi Alonso wasn't Liverpool's best midfielder even though he was :)

| The perception was that 28m for him was a good deal and could easily have been replaced, not by promoting Lucas though ;-), ya ya toure for instance wa sbought for less money the following summer and is a much better player.
