Dunno who this Arthur Molloy is, but he has evidently inspired a record of such sheer beauty, sincerity and substance, he must be a fine and glorious fellow indeed.
As if Cane 141 weren’t encouraging enough evidence that the Irish music scene is on an upturn, The Chapters are further proof that we’re bang in the middle of a new dawn for the Dublin music scene. Dunno who this Arthur Molloy is, but he has evidently inspired a record of such sheer beauty, sincerity and substance, he must be a fine and glorious fellow indeed. The Chapters, with their mellow wonderment, gentle guitar/cello blend, and sad-smile gorgeousness, have been more than worth the wait, and are sure to be a massive hit with anyone with even half an ear cocked to the scene. In fact, it’s like The Frames, but much better and without the false modesty. Bargain!
