Well, what do you know? It’s the Papenfus boys themselves! ‘Friend’ offers more stylish rock soul from the Northern trio, drifting pleasantly by without ever really grabbing your attention. Serviceable – but it’s still missing that special something that made ‘Rainbow Zephyr’ so appealing.
