Castlepalooza festival set for summer [updated May 3]

Castlepalooza, which takes place on August 5 and 6, encapsulates all the makings of an independent summer festival. The bash will be located in the refined estate of the Charleville Castle in Tullamore and bizarrely features cancan dancers, snake charmers and 40s swing as well as a full bill of rising Irish bands.
Newly added to the bill are Republic of Loose, Prison Love, Katell Keinig, 8 Ball, The Chapters, Neosupervital and Bray Vista.
Other acts confirmed so far are Saucy Monky, Dara, Bill Coleman & Band, Springbreak, 7 Day Window, Crayonsmith, Ray Heffernan, Justin Manville, Darren Lynch, Corsairs, Penfold DM, The Spikes, Techstyle, Morgan, Exit 15, DJ Justiy, Lotusland, Ten Past Seven & Suddyn.
Those who plan to carry the night's energy into the wee hours can continue with DJs playing electronic, dance, trip hop and soul until late.
