Sharon Shannon announces pre-Christmas dates

Renegade, Shannon's first studio album since 2003, sees her collaborate with Mike McGoldrick of Afro-Celt Sound System on flute, Dezi Donnelly on fiddle and Jim Murray on guitar, all backed up by her big band.

The lineup is touring under the 'Renegade' moniker, and has just returned from a rapturously-received tour of Australia and New Zealand, where they picked up a high-profile new fan in the shape of the Sultan Of Brunei.

Sharon and the band will be at the following venues in the lead-up to Christmas:

December 8: Limerick (Dolan's Warehouse)
December 14: Dublin (Olympia Theatre)
December 15: Ennis (An Glor)
December 16: Cork (Opera House)

Tickets for the Olympia date are priced €37.
