£60,000 of Orange amps stolen
Amp manufacturer Orange has put up a £5,000 reward after a container load of amplifiers was stolen from its premises in Hertfordshire, UK.
The 141 Tiny Terror Combo amps were the first shipment to arrive in the UK, and have a list price of £439 each.
Raiders used a welder and an angle grinder to cut through the sealed container. Because the amps had only gone on limited sale in the UK – only 121 have reached the shops – it is hoped that the stolen amplifiers will be more conspicuous. Serial numbers of the amps in question are available on www.orangeamps.com
