Tommy Tiernan plans comedy marathon
Tommy Tiernan goes Testamental this Easter with a 36-hour comedy show.
The Galway comic will mark the Easter weekend with an attempt to break the world record for the longest stand-up comedy act. (Although we'd imagine he'll want the odd sit down too!)
Tiernan will aim to perform 36 hours of non-stop comedy from 3pm on Good Friday (April 10) until the dawn of Easter Sunday (April 12).
A Guinness Book of Records adjudicator will be present to keep thing official, with the comic allowed just 5 minutes of rest an hour in order to qualify for the record.
Tickets for the event, which will take place in Nuns Island Theatre, Galway, are on sale now, with all profits going to the Galway Diocesan Youth Services.
