The forthcoming single ‘Time’ by Michele Ann Kelly, to be released in June, is being dedicated by the Dublin singer-songwriter to the campaign for Marriage Equality.
Performing the song on Balcony TV recently, Kelly expressed her total support for the campaign, and is now hoping other musicians will also lend their support.
‘Time’ is taken from Kelly’s debut album Songs That Saved My Life due for release later this year, and the Balcony TV appearance saw her accompanied by Chiara Browne and Eoghan Scott who are also supporting Marriage Equality. The single will be followed by a tour of Ireland with dates to be confirmed in July.
Kelly has also launched a new website www.micheleannkelly.com. Designed by Smudge Design in Dublin, it features exclusive samples from the forthcoming album, a new gallery page, music, lyrics, videos and more.

Kelly will also take “time” off from her busy promo schedule to join fellow artist Frances Black and friends for the Women's Mini Marathon in aid the RISE foundation. As the self-effacing Kelly put it: “I was working out to build up my fitness level for the single launch and the tour when I realised that running with Francis in aid of RISE would be a good thing to do.”
On the day following the Mini Marathon, Kelly will be playing at the Wexford Song Club @ The Sky & The Ground, June 2, 8.30pm. She is also set for a gig at the Civic Offices in Christchurch in Dublin on June 27 as part of the Pride Festival, and having played a stormer at Downes in Waterford two weeks ago she’s been invited back for a return gig on July 31.
