LA experimenters HEALTH are Wexford Street-bound

Can't wait 'til Sonic Youth in December to get your noise rock fix? Never fear, HEALTH will soon be here, courtesy of Foggy Notions.

The L.A. four-piece will play The Village on October 1. They've spent much of the past year since their debut album was released touring with Nine Inch Nails and Crystal Castles, if that tells you anything. Also on the bill for the October gig are techno outfit Pictureplane and Dublin heavy rock band Wounds.

Not for the aurally squeamish, this one. Tickets are €12 from the WAV box office, Ticketmaster, Sound Cellar etc.
