The summer festival season is really hotting up!
Whipping Boy and The Frank And Walters are the latest additions to the line-up for Vantastival 2011, the May Bank Holiday three-dayer that’s already luring the likes of Duke Special, Wallis Bird, Jamie Lawson and Bipolar Empire to Dunany in County Louth. Weekend tickets are €85 and you can bring your own beer!
Sunday night’s Main Stage headliners, Whipping Boy will be exhuming such classics as ‘We Don’t Need Nobody Else’, ‘Twinkle’ and ‘When We Were Young’, which came tantalisingly close to scoring an international breakthrough for them in the ‘90s.
The no less legendary Franks will also be dusting down some old faves, as well as giving a plug to their current ‘Song For A Future Love’ download single.
