Adele remains on top of the Irish album charts

Shocked? Didn't think so...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 13 Jan 2012

There's just no stopping her is there? After making UK chart history earlier this week, Adele heads into the weekend with 21 occupying its apparent permanent place atop the Irish album chart.

It's pretty much as you were for those acts making up the rest of the top ten, with positions swapped around here and there. Olly Murs climbs one place to #2 with In Case You Didn't Know while Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto moves from 4th spot to 3rd.

That has a trickle-down effort for Bruno Mars, whose Doo-Wops & Hooligans falls two places to #4. Florence & The Machine and Rihanna swap places this week with Ceremonials at #5 and Talk That Talk at #6 while the rest of the top ten remains the same as last week, rounded out by Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Imelda May and Jessie J.
