Alphastates to release new single

The Dublin-based band, who have been building up a cult fan base since releasing their debut album Made From Sand, will be playing Whelan's (upstairs) on October 16.

They have toured with the likes of Cat Power, Mercury Rev, Deus, Zero 7, Sinead O Connor and The Beta Band to name but a few.

Alphastates will release their second album in February 09.
