Alt-J for Dublin
The lauded guitar act are over next May.
Alt-J are giving fans plenty of notice that they’re making their Dublin return on May 3, 2013 in the Olympia. Tickets are €22.90, go on sale on Friday May 3 and won’t be hanging around for long.
It’s been an excellent 2012 for the Cambridge outfit with their An Awesome Wave album going top 20 in the UK and then earning them a Mercury Music Prize nomination alongside the likes of Richard Hawley and Lianne La Havas.
“I'm pretty stunned,” proffers lead singer and guitarist Joe Newman. “To be in that screenshot of great British albums from 2012… We're just really stoked. We can't wait to go to the party, get pissed and have a great time; enjoy everyone's company and soak it all up.”
