Amanda Palmer is Dublin bound

Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra are Dublin-bound on July 18 for a show in The Academy, tickets for which are €20 and go on sale on Friday April 5.

One of the biggest underground acts on the planet, Palmer sought $100,000 last year on Kickstarter to fund her Theatre Is Evil album, and ended up with a cool million!

She did a TED talk entitled ‘The Art Of Asking’, which has been viewed two millions times and generally refused to play the mainstream music industry game.
