Amy Winehouse Dingle Doc has UK premiere
July 23 is the first anniversary of the star's death.
St. Anne’s Church in Limehouse, London was the venue last week for the UK premiere of Amy Winehouse: The Day She Came To Dingle, a film documenting her 2006 visit to The Kingdom as part of Other Voices.
Along with stripped-down versions of ‘You Know I’m No Good’, ‘Rehab’, ‘Love Is A Losing Game’, ‘Me And Mr. Jones’, ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ and ‘Back To Black’, there’s interview footage and contributions from the people she met while in town.
Meanwhile, the first anniversary of her July 23 death has prompted a special tribute poster by Johan Andersson, which was unveiled this morning at Camden Town tube station. You’ll find it on Northern Line Platform 1 for the next two weeks.
