Angel Olsen – a lady who like Ms. Haze lives up to her Christian name – is Ireland-bound for shows in The Joinery, Arbour Hill, Dublin (May 2) and Half Moon, Cork (3).
Tickets are a mere tenner in both locales. The tour’s likely to be extended, so keep your eyes peeled on hotpress.com.
The Chicagoan will be showcasing her Half Way Home album, which was released Stateside in September by Bathetic Records. Like its Strange Cacti predecessor, it’s old timey but in a thoroughly contemporary way. She’s been hanging out a lot with Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, which explains everything!
