Aslan lead charge for new Monaghan festival

Quite the debut in store for Clones...

It’s “welcome” to Fortstock, a tasty looking two-dayer taking place on June 23 & 24 on Vances Estate, Scarvy, Clones, County Monaghan.

The acts break down as follows:

Saturday – The Stars from The Commitments featuring Kenneth McCluskey and Dick Massey, Mundy, The Rubberbandits, The 4 of Us, The Strypes, Fixed Penalty, Dirty Epics, Solar Taxi, Red Empire, Clara Rose, Kopek, Mr. Fake, Shuck Dodgers & Macra Na Feirme

Sunday – Aslan, Ryan Sheridan, Eric Ball Band, Whipping Boy, The Riptide Movement, Pat McManus Band, Gascan Ruckus, The Shoos, RunawayGo, Grainne Duffy, Campaign LK, One Of The Boys, Arch Rivals, The People & Macra Na Feirme

What the Young Farmers will be doing is not immediately apparent!

There’s also a dance area, The Funky Funky Place, featuring sets from the likes of Bez and 808 State’s Vince Vega.

The campsite will be open from Friday evening until noon on Monday, with shuttle busses to the site from Clones and Monaghan town.
