Bell X1 at The White House

The Kildare band got the full tour, though Obama was away

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 19 Oct 2010

Posting on their blog this morning, Bell X1 were all talk about their tour of The White House yesterday, thanks to their friend Steve of the US Secret Service.

The President himself was not present (we presume they weren't breaking and entering) though they did get to lark about in the Press Briefing Room, the Roosevelt Room and the Situation Room (seems a tad ridiculous that the guy off Jersey Shore gets his own room.) They also peered into the Oval Office - "weirdly small", apparently.

The band are currently on a tour of North America and are set to Los Angeles tomorrow night. They return to Ireland in November for a whole host of sold out dates.
