Danny O'Donoghue set for coach role on BBC show
The singer will appear on The Voice in the New Year.
Not busy enough conquering the musical world with The Script, Dublin's own Danny O'Donoghue has just been announced as one of the judges-cum-coaches on The Voice UK.
Danny joins Jessie J, Will.I.Am and Tom Jones on the illustrious panel. The talent show, presented by Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby, is set to launch in early 2012 as the BBC's answer to The X Factor
Commenting on his new role, O'Donoghue said: “I’m a massive fan of The Voice, so to be involved as a coach is amazing.
“This is a show unlike any other because it puts vocal ability first above all else. I look forward to putting my team together and battling it out with the other coaches to see who wins this unique, credible competition. I’m in it to win it!”
