Delorentos and Le Galaxie for Barn Dance VI
Two of the countries most popular live acts will appear at the Barn Dance festival on Good Friday.
Currently celebrating their recent Choice Music Prize success stateside at the SXSW Festival, Delorentos will return later this month to play Barn Dance VI on Good Friday.
The Choice winners will join Le Galaxie, The Riptide Movement, Smash Hits, The Young Folk and many many more at the BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer) shindig on Good Friday, March 29.
Tickets are now on sale for €50 at the Box Office, located at Canal Road, Ranelagh, or €53 online at [link]www.barndance.ie[/link]
Barn Dance VI will take place in a secret location with over 40 acts performing across four barns. Festival goers will be transported to the Barn Dance by buses departing from Dublin city centre, throughout the day.
Event promoter Brian McDermott said, “This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever. What started out as a one stage private gig has now grown to a full-blown boutique festival that has become a Good Friday tradition among music lovers. The new venue with increased capacity coupled with the amazing line-up is creating the perfect storm for yet another Great Friday.”
Barn Dance will use some of the proceeds to send farm animals to families in Africa to help them improve their circumstances and overcome hunger, malnutrition and poverty in a sustainable way.
