Delorentos confirm debut album details!
Delorentos have confirmed that their debut album, In Love With Detail, will finally hit the racks on April 20 through their own Cottage label.

It’s an apt title given the time – and we’re sure love! – that the chaps have lavished on the collection.
Tracks include ‘Any Other Way’, ‘Eustace Street’, ‘Stop’, ‘Do You Realise’, ‘Hands Off The Boy’, ‘Leave It On’, ‘Eyes Open’, ‘Basis Of Everything’, ‘Waiting’, ‘The Rules’, ‘Until The Next Time’ and ‘Idle Conversation’.
The band have also lined up a nationwide tour that takes them to the Music Factory, Carlow (April 7); Chasing Bar, Bundoran (14); Club HeadBangBang, Tralee (19); Temple Bar Music Centre, Dublin (26); Baker Place, Limerick (27); McGarrigle’s, Sligo (28); Spirit Store, Dundalk (May 4); The Forum, Waterford (5); Roisin Dubh, Galway (11); The Stables, Mullingar (12); De Bara’s, Clonakilty (18); and Sky, Portlaoise (19).

Thus their debut EP finally arrives with great expectations. Fortunately, it’s a case of happy endings all round as the Dublin four piece pass their first test with flying colours. Indeed, you’d be hard pressed to recognise this as anything but the work of a band at the top of their game. Every aspect exudes pure confidence. The only possible worry, in fact, is that, with its twisted guitar riffs and awkward beats, they could find themselves tied a little too closely to the whole Franz / Bloc / Futureheads thing. Some lead, most follow and Delorentos are heading for the front.
