Drogheda musician cast in ABC fantasy series
Colin O'Donoghue will be on American screens from October 21.

Not content with being a member of Drogheda guitar merchants The Enemies for the past eight years, Colin O’Donoghue has landed a recurring role as Captain Hook in ABC’s fantasy series, Once Upon A Time.
“We are great admirers of Colin’s talent and of the way he portrays Hook,” enthuse showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. “We’ve much more story to tell with the his character that we’re excited to share with the audience.”
O’Donoghue, who previously appeared in Fair City, The Clinic, The Rite and The Tudors, makes his Season Two bow Stateside on October 21 in an episode called The Crocodile.
He returns to the day job on October 23 when The Enemies play Whelan’s, Dublin.
