First Aid Kit to play Workman's Club
The Swedish sisters will be over in late February.
With a new album The Lion's Roar set for release on January 20 and already garnering great reviews, First Aid Kit are taking their show out of Scandinavia and on the road, with a trip to Dublin scheduled for early Spring. Klara and Johanna will be in the Workman's Club on Saturday February 25, performing their compelling bend of Americana-influenced folk and country.
The Lion's Roar is a full band effort, and something of a family affair – the girls' father Benkt is on bass. The line-up is rounded off by Mike Mogis (who recorded the album) and Nate Walcott of Bright Eyes, as well as a cast of Omaha-based musicians.
Tickets for the Dublin date are priced at €13 and are available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
