Florence + The Machine's MTV Unplugged details
A CD/DVD album and TV broadcast are on their way this month.
With quite the illustrious list of past participants, MTV's Unplugged series welcomes another artist into the pantheon this month. Florence has followed in the footsteps of the likes of Paul McCartney, REM and Nirvana by recording her own Unplugged session for MTV.
The CD release of the New York performance, featuring her bandmates and a 10 piece gospel choir, hits shelves this Friday, April 6, and will be available in a deluxe CD/DVD package.
The set, which includes some of her best known tracks such as 'Cosmic Love' and 'Dog Days Are Over', will make its TV debut later in the month. Tune into MTV UK & Ireland on April 21 at 9pm to see the full thing.
Meanwhile, in other Florence news, she will stream her Teenage Cancer Trust gig at the Royal Albert Hall from 9pm tomorrow on Youtube. Check the window below on Tuesday evening for the full show.
