Great turnout for special Philip Lynott celebration
A huge number of rock and roll fans gathered at the Philip Lynott Exhibition to celebrate what would have been the legendary rocker’s 62nd birthday on Saturday August 20.
Energetic new wave act Dirty Epics entertained the crowd with their unique take on Thin Lizzy classics like ‘Jailbreak’ and ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’.
Philip’s mother Philomena Lynott also met fans and signed copies of her bestselling book My Boy. Along with Dirty Epics’ singer SJ Wai, she cut Philip’s custom-made birthday cake.
The captivating exhibition of the Irish rock god which has seen fans flock from far and wide will run until August 31 at St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Dublin.
