Green Day live album on the way?

After many months of online speculation that Green Day are preparing to put out a new live album, it seems we may well see a release in March. The band informed fans on Twitter in August that a live album was on the horizon, writing : "We've been recording our live shows since the beginning of tour. Possible live album coming."

Now an Amazon listing has popped up for a new Green Day album, entitled Awesome As Fuck with the website giving it a March 15 release date. Whether it's authentic remains to be seen. Watch this space.

The pop-punks turned Bush-bashers released their last live album, Bullet In A Bible, in 2006, documenting their mammoth Milton Keynes Bowl show. The trio have been busying themselves in 2010 with the American Idiot musical.
